The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) launches website campaigns against the opposition parties preparing in coordinated efforts for the election of the House of Councilors scheduled in July: it denounces that opposition candidates are a product of collaboration of Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) and the Japanese Communist Party (JCP). The propaganda is tricky, an anachronistic view on the contemporary history and a threat to the civic population. It reveals a real face of the Abe government, a traitor administration.


APPALING ANACHRONISM OF RULING LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY


The file in question is put on the LDP official website, and a massive amount of leaflets are distributed, too. In the headline it reads ‘candidates of opposition parties’ are ‘products of collaboration of the Democratic Party and the Communist Party’. It continues to say that these candidates represent ‘the DPJ without principle’ and that they are nothing but a convenient calculation and a deal for electoral campaigns with ‘the Communist Party, a revolutionary force’.


Let’s Counterattack LDP Propaganda!


Concerning phraseology ‘collaboration’, it reminds people of the wartime cooperation of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China in the previous century. The LDP certainly aims to let voters remember those days.


The joint front of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party was established in the 1937-45 period when the two different Chinese organizations cooperated to overpower aggression waged by Japan. The two parties had fought each other before in the civil war for almost ten years, but they got united and fought, consequently, to defeat the Japanese Imperial Army which ravaged the country with atrocities, including the Nanjing Massacre.


The LDP wants to disturb the DPJ (currently named the Minshin-to after merging with the Ishin-no-to); the former hints a fact that the Kuomintang was expelled to Taiwan as a result of the subsequent civil war in China after the liberation in 1945.


The LDP does not understand at all meaning of ‘collaboration’ to be labeled. Such an approach makes the both governments of People’s Republic of China and Taiwan feel unpleasant because the Abe government has not reconsidered sincerely the history of Japan’s aggression war to Chinese people. The LDP remains too arrogant to understand Asian peoples.


A person accustomed to evil acts paralyzes the mind. The Abe government has entrusted the rights of inhabitants of Okinawa to the US military and sold everything from agriculture to assets of people to transnational corporations in the context of the TPP initiative. It is a traitor government. The Japanese society is at the abyss of destruction due to evil spirals of terrible employment conditions and low wages and bankruptcy of social services.


The Abe government is attributable to devastation of the Japanese society. It is aware of the fact. That is why the LDP takes a hostile attitude to ‘collaboration’.


Therefore, we build up many ‘collaboration’ units across the nation to expel aggressive forces of the Abe’s empire. We collaborate not only in the DPJ-JCP framework but also in other forms at all levels among voters.


Intentional Submission of Letter of Question to Parliament


The LDP leaflet asks readers to choose ‘the stable LDP-Komeito government or a progressive DPJ-JCP collaboration force’. It continues to say that ‘the LDP does not fight against a vulnerable opposition force, but the communist party which gains power secretly and steadily’.


In addition, the LDP has made its lawmaker submit a letter of question to the Diet on ‘organizations covered by the Subversive Activities Prevention Law’. The LDP goes back to the mind valid over 60 years ago when anti-communist propaganda was convincing. The party is, surprisingly, anachronistic.


We say clearly; grandfather of Prime Minister Abe was detained in the Sugamo Prison in Tokyo as a suspect of A-class war criminal. He clung to his belief of ‘Holy War’ during custody. It was only 60 years ago when he was relieved from the ban to take public office. Abe is descended from his grandfather. That is why he has an illusion that people regard a communist party as fearful.
